Scholarships covering 50% or 100% of tuition fees are available to creative and motivated students from African, South Asian, and certain Commonwealth nations who can offer development proposals for their home countries.
Our premier master’s scholarship, Developing Solutions, was established in 2001 for students from African, South Asian, and other particular Commonwealth nations. International students who aim to influence the growth of important economic, environmental, structural, social, or political structures in their native countries should apply for this scholarship program.
The University of Nottingham is providing scholarships that will pay 50% or 100% of master’s tuition for full-time students. Students who can effectively demonstrate their ingenuity for creating solutions that will touch their home nations and spark change are eligible for these one-year scholarships. They should be original and passionate.

Requirements for scholarships
You are not required to accept their offer before completing your application for this scholarship; nevertheless, only candidates who accept their offer to study with us will be given prizes.
Before awarding any scholarships, we will evaluate each application. You can be given a scholarship worth 50% or 100% of your tuition. In early July 2023, we’ll be in touch with you to let you know how your application turned out.
If you are given this scholarship, the amount will be taken out of the tuition fees you must pay to attend the University of Nottingham. Scholarships for tuition fees won’t be paid to you directly by us.
Students may occasionally be qualified to apply for multiple University of Nottingham awards. Please be aware that a Regional Scholarship and a Developing Solutions Award cannot be combined under any circumstances, and in the odd event that you were to receive both, the award with the higher value would be given priority.
Rarely will students receive Developing Solutions in addition to a school-related prize or a sporting honor. We try not to duplicate award, but in rare circumstances, this may be feasible if the combined sum does not exceed 100% of tuition fees. This is done to maximize the reach of the University’s Scholarships offering.
