Applications are now open for the Killam Doctoral Scholarships 2023/2024 to Study in Canada. The Killam Scholarship and Prize Programmes were established in memory of Izaak Walton Killam through the Will of his wife, Dorothy J. Killam, and through gifts made during her lifetime.
The primary purpose is to support higher education and research studies which is to be taken at five universities in Canada and the Canada Council for the Arts. Killam Doctoral scholarships are the one of the several prestigious awards to postgraduate students to study at the University of British Columbia. About 15-20 scholarship awards are taken up each year by top doctoral candidates in the Affiliated Fellowships competition.

Eligibility Criteria | Killam Doctoral Scholarships 2023/2024
To be eligible to apply for Killam Scholarship funding to study in Canada;
- Applicants must have completed no more than 24 months of doctoral study as of the start date of the scholarship.
- Therefore, applicants to the 2023-2024 competition must have completed no more than 24 months of doctoral study as of 1 September 2023.

- Payment of $30,000 per annum for two years
- Plus additional $2,000 allowance for research-related travel costs
