OVERVIEW OF SCHOLARSHIPS
The RFIEA Foundation is pleased to announce that 10-month scholarships are now available for researchers from all countries. The application period for the FIAS International Fellowship Program for the academic year 2022/2023 is now open.
Aix-Marseille has four fellowships available, the Loire Valley has three (Orléans-Tours), Lyon has ten, Montpellier has three, Nantes has four, and Paris has thirteen.
The appeal is open to all social science and humanities disciplines and research fields (SSH). Other initiatives in the sciences and arts with a strong connection to and dialogue with the SSH are also eligible.
The Scholarship provides the following benefits: All IAS have agreed on basic standards, which include a monthly living allowance of 2,700€, social security coverage, housing, a research and training budget, and travel expense coverage.
CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY:
To be considered for the FIAS International Fellowship Program, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
From postdocs to senior scholars, FIAS awards scholarships to outstanding researchers at all stages of their careers.
A PhD plus two years of research experience is the minimum requirement at the time of application.
Scholars with a Master’s degree and 6 years of full-time research experience after graduation will be exempt (PhD training will not be considered in the calculation of experience).
Countries Eligible: Researchers from any country may apply for the FIAS International Fellowship Program.
Eligible Courses and Subjects: All fields in the Humanities and Social Sciences are eligible for the six IAS.

Academic credentials, a CV, and a copy of the student’s passport are required as supporting documents.
Admission Requirements: To participate in this program, applicants must have a master’s degree from a recognized university.
Language Requirement: Students must be able to effectively communicate in English.
