Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for a Haileybury Scholarship, you must meet certain criteria:
- Be a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S., Canada, or Puerto Rico.
- Currently in 11th or 12th grade with proof of enrollment in an American secondary school.
- Have completed the Advanced Placement Program or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
- Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 in your last semester of high school.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Fulfill other requirements outlined in the application process.
Types of Scholarships:
- Academic Scholarships: Aimed at students in Years 3, 5, and 8 in 2024, with opportunities to progress to Years 5, 7, and 10 in 2026. Partial scholarships are awarded based on academic performance and extracurricular involvement.
- General Excellence Scholarships: Available to students displaying excellence in leadership, community service, sports, arts, and academics. Open to students in Years 4, 6, and 9 in 2023, for enrollment in Years 5, 7, and 10 in 2024.
- Socio-Economic Scholarships: Based on financial need, open to students entering Years 7 and 10 in 2024, with family incomes below $80,000 annually. These scholarships can cover a portion of tuition fees.
- Indigenous Scholarships: Specifically for students of Australian Indigenous descent entering Grades 5–7 in 2023. These scholarships cover up to 90% of tuition fees until the completion of Grade 12.
